Blair Besten got her license in real estate after purchasing, rehabilitating, and reselling her own residential properties. Her sensibilities in design and construction lead her to a career in development in the Historic area of Downtown Los Angeles. During the beginning of the renaissance in Downtown, she worked with KOR Realty Group in project management on two high-rise developments: the Santa Fe Lofts and the Eastern Columbia Building. She also assisted with several retail business build outs and transitioned both projects from construction through their sales and leasing phases. She also assisted the Amerland Group, an affordable housing developer, with the Alexandria and Rosslyn Lofts projects. It was with the Amerland Group that she furthered her experience in community development, and nurtured relationships with City Hall and the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety.
Blair values her client relationships and strives to utilize her detailed knowledge to assist them with their home sales and purchases. Home sales being one of the most important life decisions, having an educated and knowledgeable Realtor is paramount. She values her teams combined years of experience and often draws on their different areas of expertise through the details of the transaction. She is also sensitive to her clients needs, and has a calm but meticulous approach to the process. She will seek first to understand your goals, and be creative with ideas to get the results you need.
Blair attended Rutgers University for two years before finishing her degree at Indiana University. She has sat on the Board of the Historic Downtown Business Improvement District, Co-Chaired the Community Police Advisory Board of LAPD’s Central Bureau, and also Chairs the KW Cares Committee, a Keller Williams 501 C-(3) charity that gives back where Keller Williams associates live and work.
